Our last day at a park was at the Magic Kingdom. There was no pressure to rush anywhere, since we had already been. Plus, the kids knew exactly what they wanted to do! We started out at the Tomorrowland Speedway. Lincoln drove with Dave, Dorothy drove my car, and Drakie drove with Grandma.
The boys really wanted to do Space Mountain and Buzz rides again, so I took them and the other adults took Dorothy back to her favorites.
Dave lost the exact count, but he's pretty sure Dorothy rode the Carousel 12 times in a row, after riding Dumbo 5 times. Once again, there weren't many people at the park, due to the approaching Hurricane.
We all met up for lunch at Geppetto's. The cast members were so nice there! They made it so that each of the kids got a fun drink with a Mickey Straw, all on our dining plan. Drakie was in a snuggly mood at lunch; he couldn't keep off Grandma.
We really wanted to give the kids a chance to spend time at the pool, so we split up after lunch. Dave took Drake to Splash Mountain again. On the way back to the resort, they caught a parade.
Lincoln and I rode the new Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. It was the perfect roller coaster, for me: not too many big drops!
Grandma and Papa were on Cinderella duty.
Disney made the announcement that they would be closing the park at 5pm that night and the park would be closed the next day. They were preparing for Hurricane Matthew. While we were walking back to the monorail, we stopped for a show at the Sword in the Stone. Cast Members were choosing people from the audience to try and pull the stone out. Lincoln was in the front and so attentive, so I thought for sure they were going to choose him at the end. They ended up choosing a little girl instead. Lincoln wanted to try again after the show was over.
We didn't let the rain and winds stop us from swimming that afternoon! After swimming, Grandma and I stood in line to get dinner. The lines at the resort were crazy long, because everyone's dinner reservations were cancelled. We ended up having a "picnic" on the floor.
