Florida Adventures--Magic Kingdom

We probably stayed up too late the night before, but we couldn't help it. Our dinner reservations were at 6:40, plus we HAD to go for a swim after!

Even though it was early, we managed to get to the park right when they were starting the morning opening show. Mickey and Minnie showed up on a train (those are 3 of Dorothy's favorite things!), plus the dancers shot fireworks out of their hands (bonus for the boys!). We headed straight to Tomorrowland for some of the popular rides that have longer lines. I don't think we would have had to hurry so much, because the lines were not bad at all.

Grandma, Papa and I took the boys to Space Mountain. The boys loved it! Papa got off and said, "Well, those aren't the typical rides I normally get on."

More of our time in Tomorrowland--

Dorothy only wanted to ride the outdoor rides. She loved Dumbo, Barnstormer, and Prince Charming's Carousel.

We ate lunch at the Plaza that day. The food was yummy, but our favorite thing was that we were allowed to have milkshakes for our dining plan, and even better...they were unlimited!!

Grandma and Papa stayed at the park, while Dave and I took the kids back to the hotel for a rest. We took the monorail to the park in the morning, so we took the boat back to our hotel. It's nice to have those options to get quickly back to the hotel!

Grandma and Papa got soaked at the park, but the weather cleared up later for us to go back later that evening.

After riding the teacups, watching Mickey's Philharmagic, and straining to get the sword out of the stone, Dave took the boys to Splash Mountain, while the rest of the adults took Dorothy to meet some Princesses.

The kids enjoyed being at the pool as much as the park, so we went for another late night swim and ate dinner around 8pm.
