The Sherills were wonderful hosts for our 3rd annual back-to-school party. This is one of my favorite parties of the year. There are no birthday presents, so no jealousy, and not a ton of preparation. We just throw some snacks out, put out some water activities, and the kids have a blast!
Drake also got invited to another party by his preschool friend Teagan. There were tons of soon-to-be kindergartners, even his good bud Ella. She and Drake both got Mrs. Parnell.
We had to say goodbye to some dear friends that moved to the other side of the state. We are going to miss this family tons!
After many orientations and school meetings, school started. Lincoln has Mrs. Earl for 2nd grade. He has done fabulous so far. No complaints, except for when Gabe told other people that Merit told Lincoln she thought his lunchbox was cute. Drama already!
Drakie has also done really well in school. He literally ran in the doors with his buddy Connor!
How do I not have a picture of my little preschooler? Dorothy girl started going 2 days a week. She also runs in, and doesn't even look back.
We had a crazy storm, and the kids wanted to watch the Lightning. Dave was strumming his guitar, and the kids were all over the rails. It was pretty epic!
Labor Day weekend, we headed up to Virginia to see the Edwards! This was our first time meeting Zachary. He is such a sweetie; even Dorothy thought so! Check out that smooch!!
We were invited to a family pool party the night before Zachary's blessing at church. Seriously, there is so much love in this family!
We hated saying bye to the Edwards, but we still had to go to Hickory for Kristin's birthday celebration!
