Kid's Camp

Izzy is one of Lincoln's friends in Sunbeams, the 3 year old Sunday School at church. This works out well, because he mom is one of my friends! We decided to do a Kid's camp with our little ones. We each hosted and planned a different day of the week, and with Pinterest's help, the kids had a ton of fun!

Each day we started with the National Anthem, then we read books, sang songs, did crafts, played games, and made lunch all based around the theme of the day.

Monday: Color Day

Tuesday: Ocean

Wednesday: Jungle Day

Thursday: Olympics

Friday: Cooking

Look what masking tape and finger paint can do.

Izzy playing with homemade sand play dough on Ocean day.

They played with water balloons and did team work games with a bucket. They mostly just liked throwing water balloons!

Making muffins in the chef's hats they made.

I just noticed I don't have pictures from Jungle day. They made really cute projects: a lion's mask, jungle necklace, and an elephant picture made from their handprints. One of their favorite things that day was going on a snake hunt with flashlights. The kids really did have fun, but Sarah and I were worn out by the end of the week!
