Summer Fun-Utah and Idaho

I was wondering why Lincoln wasn't more sad to leave Denver: even I shed a few tears. We all flew out to Salt Lake City on Sunday morning. Grandma and Papa Shinsel picked us up at the airport in their 33 foot RV, also known as Papa's Bus. The bus always has lots of tasty snacks and fun activities for the kids to do.

From there, we met Reed and Chelsea at Legacy Park. This park was huge!! The kids got to throw bread to the ducks, jump through a splash pad, and of course play on the play equipment. Barry's family also met up with us and had lunch on the bus.

We left the park and drove to Barry's house in Lehi. Lincoln fell asleep and when we woke up, he was confused why we weren't in Denver. When we told him we weren't going back to Denver, he lost it! Poor guy thought that we were just going to have a little day trip to Utah, and then go back to Will and Luke's house.

There was plenty to do in Utah to keep his mind off missing his buddies. Deanne and Bed came down for dinner.

It was wonderful to meet Corey and his family. Libby, Dorothy and Cole are so close in age. We had to get a shot of all the dudes with their babies!

We met them at a park for pizza dinner. The weather was perfect! My boys loved all the rides that made them crazy dizzy.

We went to a really cool children's museum and met up with some of our dear friends, the "Ballz."  They also have 2 boys and a girl now, so it was fun to see their family. Later that afternoon, they came over for dinner.

Our 3 days went by very quickly! Thanks to Amy and Barry for letting us crash that long with you guys!! It was so sweet to see a friendship form between Lincoln and Mya. I just know Cole and Dorothy will be the best of buds one day too.

The next stop was Mountain Home, Idaho to see Kim and her family. The boys were in cousin heaven there. We hadn't planned on stopping for dinner, but the boys didn't really want to leave. They had 7 boy cousins and 3 girl cousins they had to catch up with! Papa took a picture of the guys playing video games, I will see if I can dig it up.

Our final destination was only

3 hours away....La Grande Oregon!
