Trend

I know I write this all the time....I'm far behind in my blogging and I don't have many pictures. It's not a trend I am proud of.

I love being pregnant for many reasons, but one is that I can blame mistakes on my "pregnancy brain." Last week, I thought St. Patrick's day was on Monday. Link and I had green eggs and ham for breakfast, and we made green almond cupcakes with green butter cream frosting from scratch. He liked the cupcakes much better than the eggs. I did too! Anyway, I'm glad Dave didn't go around work pinching people, because Monday wasn't really St. Patrick's day. Pregnancy brain!

Lincoln and I spent St. Patrick's day on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. My grandma has had horrible weather this winter in New Jersey and was sick of it, so she treated us plus my mom to a mini vacation at the beach. The weather was perfect: not too hot and not too cold. We spent most of the 4 days right on the beach or in the pools at the hotel. Lincoln's favorite was riding bikes on the beach. When he watches the videos of himself and my mom on the bike, he freaks out, jumping up and down and waving to mom in the video.

Yesterday was my turn to have the kids over for kid co-op. They are getting really close to each other, and it is fun to watch them interact now that they are all talking more. I love this picture of all the boys in their sunglasses.

Dave E came over last night, which is always a treat. He had to be in Chapel Hill and wanted to aviod driving in the nasty storm we had going on. Of course Lincoln had to play a little keyboard for him, while sitting in the baby bath?!?

  1. most great musicians compose their hits while playing the keyboard in the baby bath. in fact, that's where a young Mozart composed his opera "Idomeneo."

  2. Oh a day at the beach sounds heavenly! I love that you celebrated St Patrick's day on the wrong day. That's great, totally something I would do not pregnant :-)
